Deadlines & reminders

Any task with a due date automatically creates a deadline event on the Calendar on that date. This means your tasks and hearings live side-by-side in the same calendar view, giving you a complete picture of your day.

How deadlines appear on the calendar

Deadline events show in grey on the Calendar (compared to the court-colored hearing events). They appear in all three views: Month, Week, and Day.

In Month view, a grey dot on a date means there is a task due that day. In Week/Day view, the deadline appears as a time-block — positioned at the task’s due time if set, or as an all-day event if no time was specified.

Setting a deadline on a task

1 Create or edit a task

Open a task from the Tasks page, or create a new one via New Task.

2 Set the due date

Click the Due Date field and pick a date. Optionally set a due time.

3 Save

Click Save. The deadline event appears on the Calendar immediately.

Removing a deadline

Edit the task and clear the due date field. The calendar event is removed automatically.
