Applications (IA)

Interlocutory Applications (IAs) are interim applications filed within a case to seek specific orders before the final judgment. NyayX tracks IAs as a sub-list within each case.

Legal Proceedings page — IAs tab

1 Open Legal Proceedings for a case

Open a case → click the Legal Proceedings tab → click the IAs sub-tab.

2 Add an IA

Click Add IA. Fill in:

  • IA number — e.g., IA No. 1234/2024
  • Filed on — filing date
  • Relief sought — brief description of what the IA asks for
  • Status — Pending, Allowed, Dismissed, Withdrawn
3 Track the IA

After the IA is listed, update its Status whenever the court passes an order. All status changes are timestamped.
