Reimbursements
The Reimbursements page (/finances/reimbursements) shows all case-level expenses that were flagged as reimbursable to a team member and have not yet been settled.
How expenses end up here
When a team member logs a case expense (a court fee paid personally, a filing charge, travel to court, etc.) and it’s marked reimbursable to the member who paid it, it appears in this queue until an owner, admin, or other user with finance-edit access marks it as settled.
Reading the queue
Each row shows:
- Description: what the expense was for
- Case: the case number it belongs to
- Paid by: the team member who is owed the reimbursement
- Amount: how much is outstanding
The Outstanding figure at the top sums all pending items across the workspace.
Marking as reimbursed
Find the row and click Mark reimbursed.
Pick Bank transfer, UPI, Cash, or Other, and enter a reference (transaction ID, note, etc.). The reference field is required.
Click Save, then confirm in the inline prompt that appears (“Mark this expense as reimbursed? This cannot be undone.”). Once confirmed, the item drops out of the queue and the underlying case expense is updated to show it as settled.
