Court color legend

The top navigation bar shows small colored dots, one per court you have set up. This is the Court Legend, a quick visual reference so you always know which color belongs to which court.

Reading the legend

Each dot in the nav bar stands for one court. Click the legend to open a popover that lists every court with its color swatch and hex code, plus a direct link to edit the colors in Settings.

One color, everywhere

Court colors are set once per court and then used consistently across NyayX. The same color you pick appears on:

  • The Board, next to each case
  • The Calendar, as the color of each hearing event
  • Court Mode, as the colored edge of each case card
  • The Cases list and case detail, as the dot beside the court name
  • The Hearings page and cause lists

So once you learn a court’s color, you recognize it in every view without reading the court name.

Editing court colors

1 Open the Court Legend in the top navbar

Click the row of colored dots in the top navigation bar. The popover opens with your full list of courts and colors.

2 Click 'Edit court colors'

The popover includes an Edit court colors link that takes you to Settings → Court Colors (/settings?tab=court-colors), where you can add courts and change any color.
